Sadly, the 2021 Fort Lowell Shootout has been cancelled. It was just the right thing to do given the current situation with COVID19. The health and safety of our community is first and foremost at this time.
We will be looking for ways to safely and responsibly get kids playing again as soon as possible. Stay tuned, check for updates on our club Facebook page at RSL AZ Southern Arizona Soccer Club

Tucson’s biggest youth soccer tournament.
Over 380 teams applied in 2020!
This year the Tucson Association of Realtors® Shootout is proudly presented by RSL-AZ Southern Arizona Soccer Club. We are honored to celebrate our 31st year of this amazing event after a highly successful tournament last year with teams for SoCal, Utah, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Mexico and of course Arizona. With ECNL teams, USYS National League teams, Desert Conference and elite academies from Mexico, this event continues to attract top teams from around the region.
As part of RSL-AZ, our elite level brackets will grow in competition level and size. We will still always call the Shootout the soccer tournament with a heart, everyone from recreational to competitive will have a great place to play. Things may be a bit different this year but we will still be sure to make the Shootout more than just a tournament.
We look forward to hosting new and returning teams for another great soccer weekend in Tucson, AZ. This year, we will have extra emphasis on safety and cleanliness. Our primary focus is keeping players, coaches, volunteers and our soccer community safe.
Team staff and coaches are asked to wear masks at all times. Teams and players, we ask that you respect social distancing when not on the pitch. NO shared equipment allowed including benches but shade tents are allowed. Players and coaches, please bring your own chairs.
Facilities will be cleaned frequently throughout each day of the event and we will schedule in additional time between games to allow for safe entry and exit for all participants.
Only players, staff and coaches allowed on the field! Currently some of our sites will not allow spectators inside their facility gate, check back for specific venue rules, spectator maps and guidelines as we get closer to the event.
NO IN PERSON SOCCER OLYMPICS OR PARADE….
Out of an abundance of caution, we will not be holding an in person parade of athletes or soccer Olympics. As we get closer to January and have more information from the county and our facilities will communicate that to our participating teams. In the meantime, watch out for virtual soccer Olympics challenges over the coming months on our website and social media.
The Fort Lowell Shootout’s Highlight Games honor one of Tucson’s soccer greats, Dick Geibner. Our competition committee, selects elite teams from across the region to play in the Shootout’s featured Dick Geibner Highlight Games on the Kino Sports Complex – North Stadium. The shootout is Tucson Soccer’s biggest youth soccer tournament featuring the best soccer facility in the state of Arizona. The Shootout brings together top notch facilities, high level competition, and the unique team building experience of the soccer Olympics.
