The Soccer Olympics and opening ceremonies have been a part of the Fort Lowell Shootout Soccer Tournament since it was founded. The Friday night festivities include a parade, live music, food trucks, games/rides, and more. The big Friday Night event is the one of kind, Soccer Olympics. A fun and exciting way for young athletes to showcase their technical skills and abilities. All Olympics events will take place on Friday this year.

The Fort Lowell Shootout Soccer Tournament is proud to have provided high level competitive matches on great fields and facilities for over 30 years. The Shootout’s festival atmosphere is a unique tradition in youth soccer. This year’s soccer tournament will be even bigger and better with the support of RSL-AZ.

Opening Ceremonies & Parade of Teams

Grab your dinner and settle in the perfect seat to watch some youth soccer tournament entertainment. The Fort Lowell Shootout will get the festivities started with an Olympic Style Opening Ceremony including the Parade of Teams. Get ready to see the team spirit as teams compete for the Best Hair, Best Mascot, and Best Banner.

OPENING CEREMONY – NO LONGER UNDER CLEAR BAG POLICY

Our Friday Night Opening Ceremony will no longer adhere to a strict clear bag policy but ALL bags will be searched upon entry for the safety of all of our athletes, families, spectators in attendance. 

KINO GAME DAY RULES

Spectators will only be allowed to bring select items into the Kino Sports Complex on gamedays. Please see the accepted and prohibited items lists below.  Coaches will be allowed to bring in coolers with sports drinks and water for players.
